Medicare’s Part A
This covers hospital stays, post-hospital nursing care, home health services, and hospice.
Part B
It takes care of doctor visits, lab costs, and certain outpatient medical treatments.
Part C
These plans are offered by private insurance carriers who have a contract with Medicare and are required to offer the same benefits as Original Medicare. You can enroll in this option to replace your “Original Medicare” (Part A and Part B). These plans are offered in the form of an HMO, HMO-POS, AND A PPO.
Part D
Offers prescription drug coverage to help with medication expenses.
